Airlines are companies who pay you to land airplanes in your airport. The prices paid are depending on your airport's pricing policy, which can be unlocked with research.

Certain airlines have different requirements before they will become interested in your airport. The most popular requirement is for more interest from passengers, though other airlines may require an upgraded runway, or for the airport to hire administrative staff.
