Airplanes

Airplanes are aircraft that transport passengers to and from an airport.

Whilst the player does not directly control airplanes, they can decide which airlines are allowed to operate in their airspace. All airlines have a unique fleet of airlines which the player is able to schedule. Each aircraft requires a specific amount of time to deplane, clean, board (AI Dependent) and depart. The values for these aircraft are currently not specified in the game; however, Mel-Kulek's Gate Analysis provides estimates that are accurate to within 3 minutes

Requirements

For an airplane to be eligible land at an airport, it must meet specific requirements. The two main requirements for aircraft is the minimum Gate Size, and minimum Runway Length. All aircraft have different requirements depending on their size, and all requirements must be met before the aircraft can be scheduled at an airport.

In order for an aircraft to be able to land, at least one runway must be equal to or longer than its minimum runway length.
